Our Story

Butterscotch Memoirs Publishing LLC was founded in Dallas, Texas by Maurice T. Williams, a U.S. Army veteran, corporate executive, and author.

We are a boutique operation by design. Our catalog is small because our standards are high. Every author published under this imprint was selected for the quality of their voice and the purpose behind their work.

With twelve published titles and growing, our focus is giving every author on our roster the visibility their work deserves, and developing our original properties for animation, consumer products, film, television, and global licensing.

A note to aspiring authors

We are grateful for the interest and support of the writing community. At this time we are not accepting unsolicited submissions from new authors. We encourage every writer to keep creating, keep refining their craft, and keep believing in the power of their story. Every great book begins with a single voice and a story worth telling.
